Split Cane Bamboo Fly Rods, Specializing in, Refinish, Repair of vintage tackle
A Hobbyist personified, unique and distinctive cane rods, New miniature gift sets, I specialize in refinishing, repairs, rebuilding your old rod for over 40 years, I have many spare parts. I never saw a cane rod that I didn't like, and never had one that couldn't be fixed, upgraded, refinished, or made to fish.
For well over 40 years I have been constructing creative split cane fly rods, most are still on the water, plus designing and making nets, shadow boxes, wall displays & miniature gift sets. I really enjoy the challenges of refinishing vintage rods as well and can strip, refinish, with new wraps, new guides, a 3 piece or 2 piece cane rod for $125.00 plus shipping, turn around is usually 2 to 3 weeks. Many older cane rods need complete upgrades from stripped blanks with new seat, cork grip, check, guides, tip tops, yes even new bags & tubes. (No epoxies), only the best varnish and silks are used on any and every bamboo rod that comes in. Some valuable art work, sporting & others with pictures are posted, any and all questions are welcome and will be answered to the best of my ability.
Custom work from new cane or specializing in, refinish, repairing, your vintage tackle to near original condition. Upgrading vintage bamboo rods is popular and I can make your cane look like a modern day high grade rod for less than you might think.
